The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ketchum throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nogueira's waist but Nogueira gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ketchum off to one side.
Ketchum shoots in looking for a takedown. Nogueira tries to sprawl out of it but Ketchum keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Nogueira manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ketchum shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ash Ketchum. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Nogueira lands a big uppercut and Ketchum crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Ketchum looks OK. Nogueira waves Ketchum back to his feet!

Nogueira lands with a big right hook that stumbles Ketchum - he's out on his feet here! Nogueira follows up with another monster hook that separates Ketchum from consciousness! Ketchum falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Nogueira stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
