Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Albert Ashton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Henderson has chosen "Sandstorm" - Darude as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tommy Henderson!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Damien Edna and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ashton moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Ashton fails in his attempt to clinch.

Henderson gets caught flat footed, as Ashton shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Ashton advances to half guard.
Ashton seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Henderson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Henderson keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Henderson is trying to get back to full guard.
Henderson wants to control but Ashton is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Ashton thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Henderson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Henderson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ashton manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Ashton striking off his back but it's not causing Henderson any problems.

Henderson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ashton has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Henderson has managed to get both his arms back between Ashton's legs - danger averted.

Ashton throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Henderson escapes and throws Ashton's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Henderson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Henderson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Ashton is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Henderson's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Ashton has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Henderson. Oh but Ashton has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Henderson goes limp - he's gone! Ashton jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
