The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Redman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Nakatani pinned against the cage. Nakatani gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Redman has a takedown stuffed.
Redman keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nakatani shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Nakatani showed some decent athleticism there.
Nakatani uses his free foot to push down on Redman's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Redman.

Nakatani is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Redman has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Redman!

Nakatani is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Redman frees his head nicely. Oh but Nakatani has switched to an armbar! Redman is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
