Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Justin Danger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bolo Yang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bolo Yang is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bolo Yang!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice shot lands for Danger.


It looks like Bolo Yang has been cut.

Danger tries to keep at a distance but Yang has taken the fight into the clinch.

Yang's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Yang has managed to clinch.
Yang will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Danger up against the cage.

Yang breaks from the clinch.
Danger throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Yang escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nice defenses there by Yang.
Horrible takedown by Yang or perhaps it was just good defense by Danger which made him look bad.

Yang gets in close and instigates a clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Danger's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Danger has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Danger throws a left and a right that both miss
and Yang counters with a one-two to the body.

Yang drives through and clinches with Danger against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Danger wants to get back to striking at distance but Yang won't allow it.

Justin Danger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Danger tries to clinch but Yang moves away

and Yang holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Danger wants to break the clinch but can't.

Yang pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Yang clinches up with Danger and pushes him back against the cage.
Yang keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Danger's efforts to push away.
Yang lands with a left to the head.

Yang manages to break the clinch.

Yang closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Yang's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Danger fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Yang on the side of the head.
Danger looks to throw the jab but Yang is out of range.

Yang has taken the fight to the clinch.

Yang has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Danger uses from the top position.
Yang bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Danger's guard.

Yang has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Danger is squirming around, avoiding Yang's attempts to control the action.
Yang has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Danger's face.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Yang content just to control the position here.

Yang goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Danger turns into him and now he's in Yang's guard.
Yang looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Yang controls Danger momentarily but Danger frees himself.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Yang tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Yang is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Danger has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Yang is proving hard to escape from.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Justin Danger will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Danger throws a lazy right hand but Yang sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Yang darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Yang shoots for a takedown but Danger saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Yang uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Danger.
Yang blocks a jab.
Danger misses the shot to the body.
Danger thows a left - swing and a miss!

Yang darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Yang is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Danger has managed to free his arm - good work.

Yang decides to return to a standing position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Danger throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Yang is trying hard to land a takedown here. Danger sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

and Yang counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Yang.

Yang fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Danger sprawls well initially but Yang persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Danger is staying active underneath Yang, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Yang content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Danger is not content to let Yang control the position.
Yang is stalling here. Danger is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Yang seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Danger has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Danger tries to stand but Yang controls the position and pulls Danger into his guard.
Yang manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Danger manages to get himself to full guard.
Danger can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Yang controls the pace.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Yang shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Danger manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Yang looking for a guillotine here but Danger defends easily.
Danger knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Yang on the ground.

Yang working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Danger doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Danger manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Yang pushes Danger off and gets back to his feet.
Yang dives in and grabs Danger's left leg, looking for a takedown. Danger pushes down on Yang's head and hops out.

and Yang counters by moving into the clinch.

Danger throws a looping overhand right but Yang ducks down to avoid it.

Yang shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Danger napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Yang goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Danger rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Yang's guard! Nice work there by Danger!

Bolo Yang comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Yang has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
