The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Larson fails with a takedown attempt.
A combination from Larson does no damage.
Nice sprawl there from Pudzanovski as Larson shoots in.
Larson throws a hook but Pudzanovski blocks it.
Ian Larson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Larson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

It looks like Mariusz Pudzanovski has been cut.
Pudzanovski stuffs the takedown attempt from Larson. Larson gets slowly back to his feet.

Larson throws a series of punches but Pudzanovski moves out of range.

Larson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Pudzanovski defends it nicely.

Pudzanovski closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Larson to the mat! Larson manages to get full guard.
Pudzanovski wants to pass the guard but Larson is keeping the position.
Larson wants to stand up but Pudzanovski is controlling him.
Pudzanovski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Larson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pudzanovski distracts Larson with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Pudzanovski moves nicely into side control.

Pudzanovski has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Larson's face.
Oh Larson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
A big strike lands for Pudzanovski! That's really hurt Larson and he's turned his back - Pudzanovski keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Pudzanovski jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
