Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hack Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adams has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams tries to land a front kick but Hughes steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Hughes is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Hughes moves out of range of the body kick from Adams.
Adams is breathing heavily.
Hughes avoids the head kick by Adams.
Hughes shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Adams pinned against the cage. Adams gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Hughes closes the distance and clinches.
Adams landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Adams tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Adams is pressed up against the cage. Hughes has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Adams down to the mat. Adams avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Hughes shoots in for a double leg but Adams sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Hack Adams has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kevin Hughes.
Adams throws a head kick but Hughes moves out of range.
Hughes tries for a takedown but Adams sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Adams misses with a low kick.
Hughes shoots for a double leg takedown but Adams sprawls well. He's pushed Hughes's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Hughes throws a left that rocks Adams and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Hughes dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Adams regain composure!

Hughes looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Oh Adams is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Hughes passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Adams!

Hughes has hold of Adams's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Adams manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
