The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ornias fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Jackson throws a head kick but Ornias moves out of range.
Jackson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Jackson is looking to clinch but Ornias is avoiding it.

Ornias lands with a straight right. Jackson didn't see that one coming.
Ornias throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jackson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Ornias misses with a jab, cross combination.

Ornias stands up from Jackson's guard - Ornias perhaps looking for a knockout.
Ornias leaves Jackson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Jackson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Jackson shoots in for a double leg but Ornias sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ornias throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jackson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Jackson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ornias is fending him off so far but Jackson persists. Nope, Ornias circles away and we're back to standing.
