Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Russel Ebert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Andrew Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Russel Ebert!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Andrew Berry and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson shoots in for a double leg but Ebert sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Anderson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Ebert uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Anderson.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Ebert breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Donk. Ebert catches Anderson right on the button with a cross.
Anderson takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Anderson throws out a loose jab but Ebert uses good head movement to avoid it.
Anderson fails with a takedown attempt.
Anderson pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Ebert gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Anderson is looking to regain half guard here but Ebert keeps moving and retains side control.

Anderson takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Check out the look on Ebert's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Ebert has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Ebert looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Anderson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Anderson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ebert pulls his head out easily.

Ebert slips a nice elbow through Anderson's hands, connecting with Anderson's forehead.
Ebert looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Oh Anderson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ebert lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Anderson quite badly. Anderson pulls Ebert in close trying to recover. Ebert postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Anderson on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Anderson doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Russel Ebert!
