Griffin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hoop lands with a shot to the body.
Griffin lands a nice leg kick that just misses Hoop's sensitive parts.
Griffin takes the fight into the clinch.

Hoop jumps guard but Griffin stands there with Hoop around his waist. Hoop gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Griffin is looking to take a break and control but Hoop is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Griffin takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Griffin lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Griffin cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Hoop keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Griffin looking to control and managing it successfully.
A nice elbow there by Griffin.
Griffin breaks from Hoop's wrist control and lands an elbow.
The referee warns Hoop that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Griffin pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Griffin is landing with some decent strikes but Hoop is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Hoop is rocked!
Griffin loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Hoop scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Griffin land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Griffin stands and salutes the crowd.
