Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Robertson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balboa takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Robertson misses with the combination.
The fight stays on the outside here - Balboa looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
An inside leg kick from Robertson misses.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Robertson, right into the meat.
Robertson swats away the attempt to clinch by Balboa.
Balboa throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Robertson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Balboa with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Robertson to score with a decent uppercut.

Robertson gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Balboa wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Balboa is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Robertson has had enough of the clinch but Balboa keeps him there for the moment.

and Robertson holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Balboa breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Balboa.
Robertson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Balboa moves away.
Balboa ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Robertson drives through and clinches with Balboa against the cage.
Balboa keeps control of Robertson as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Robertson shoots in looking for a takedown. Balboa tries to sprawl out of it but Robertson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Balboa manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
