The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gracie drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Stevenson is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Gracie's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Gracie tries to pass the half guard into mount. Stevenson knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stevenson tries to close the distance and clinch but Gracie swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

The fight stays on the outside here - Stevenson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Gracie misses with a takedown

and Stevenson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Gracie's guard now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gracie has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Stevenson doesn't defend quickly enough and Gracie has managed to lock this one up! Can Stevenson escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Gracie on a fantastic submission victory.
