Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Artur Rutskin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Artur Rutskin is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Artur Rutskin!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Illya Tyunina and Aleksandr Martynov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Rutskin.
Rutskin misses with a takedown attempt - Power sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Power tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Rutskin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Rutskin pushes Power up against the cage in a clinch.
Rutskin tries to land knees in the clinch but Power avoids the damage to the body.
Power tries to pull guard but Rutskin holds him up against the cage and eventually Power drops back down to his feet.
Power is trying to break the clinch but Rutskin has him pressed against the cage.

Power has Rutskin pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Power pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Rutskin tumbling to the mat - Power dives into Rutskin's guard.
Rutskin is trying to control the position but Power postures up.

Power drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Power jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Power distracts Rutskin with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Power trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Power stands and steps away. Rutskin gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Power misses with a takedown attempt

and Rutskin moves into the clinch.
Power tries to break free but Rutskin pushes him back against the cage.
Power tries to break the clinch but Rutskin is controlling the position.

Rutskin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Power with a poor takedown

and Rutskin counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Rutskin.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paul Power. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Power is breathing heavily.
Rutskin trying to control but Power is working from the bottom.
Rutskin tries to free his leg and advance position but Power is retaining full guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Power holds on and takes a little breather.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Power is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Rutskin rolls with it to try and escape but Power cranks on the arm and Rutskin is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
