Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vasiliy Arkhipov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sky Scrape (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scrape is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Jark Prongo - Movin through your system. Sky Scrape will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Vasiliy Arkhipov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sky Scrape!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scrape's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Scrape duly obliges.
Scrape with a body punch. A glancing blow.
A jab from Arkhipov misses.
Arkhipov blocks a low kick nicely.
Scrape lunges at Arkhipov with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Arkhipov's hand.
Scrape keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Arkhipov.
Arkhipov takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Scrape staying out of range there.
Scrape is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Arkhipov loads up on a big right hand but Scrape slips the punch.
Arkhipov tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Scrape counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Arkhipov needs to keep his hands up - Scrape had a free shot at his head there.
A combination from Arkhipov does no damage.
Scrape throws a low kick but Arkhipov avoids it.
Arkhipov throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Scrape stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Scrape throws out a loose jab but Arkhipov uses good head movement to avoid it.
Arkhipov tries to clinch but Scrape moves out of range.
Scrape lands a body shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Arkhipov connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Scrape's hands.

Scrape connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Arkhipov falls off balance throwing a combination
and Scrape counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Scrape circles away from the clinch attempt
and Scrape counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Scrape connects with a nice looking jab.
Arkhipov tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Scrape counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Arkhipov gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Scrape to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Arkhipov might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Scrape is pushing down on Arkhipov's leg trying to pass to half guard. Arkhipov is fighting to maintain full guard but Scrape has managed to sneak the leg through.
Scrape working over Arkhipov with some ground and pound. Arkhipov looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Arkhipov on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Arkhipov tries to get out of the position.
Scrape wants to take a breather but Arkhipov is having none of it.

Scrape scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Scrape not doing much here.
Scrape is looking to take a break and control but Arkhipov is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Scrape is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Arkhipov has hold of Scrape's hands but Scrape slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Scrape seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Arkhipov does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Scrape thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Arkhipov's head.

Scrape is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Scrape throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Arkhipov is trying to maintain the position but Scrape is very close to passing his half guard.

Scrape is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Arkhipov sees it coming and defends easily.
Arkhipov tries to get to full guard but Scrape has control of the leg.
Arkhipov is breathing heavily.
Scrape working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Scrape looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Arkhipov manages to get to full guard.
Scrape trying to control but Arkhipov is working from the bottom.
Arkhipov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Scrape on the ground.

Scrape loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Arkhipov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Scrape trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Scrape has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Nice straight punches there by Scrape. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Scrape.

Scrape moves into the clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Arkhipov tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Scrape's elbow.
Come on Scrape - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Scrape misses with a short punch on the inside.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Scrape moves into range and clinches up with Arkhipov.

Still in the clinch, Scrape scores with a nice short uppercut.
A nice right hand lands inside from Scrape.
Arkhipov tries to work over Scrape's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Arkhipov lands a left hand that snaps the head of Scrape backwards.
Scrape wants a takedown but no success here.

Scrape pushes Arkhipov back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Scrape is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Arkhipov gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Arkhipov is pressed up against the cage. Scrape has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Arkhipov down to the mat. Arkhipov avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Vasiliy Arkhipov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sky Scrape.

Scrape fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Arkhipov looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Scrape has closed the distance and engaged Arkhipov in a clinch.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Scrape obliges.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Scrape has picked Arkhipov up - he's going for a ride! Scrape dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Sky Scrape has got the better of the ground game so far.
Arkhipov is bucking up trying to escape but Scrape cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Scrape lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Scrape postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Arkhipov looks a forlorn figure.
Scrape with shots to the head and body - Arkhipov looks very uncomfortable down there.
Scrape has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Arkhipov's face.
Scrape cracks Arkhipov with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Arkhipov tries to lock up and control but Scrape gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Scrape fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Scrape working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Scrape with shots to the head and body - Arkhipov looks very uncomfortable down there.
Oh Arkhipov is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Scrape postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Arkhipov in real trouble here! The ref calls for Arkhipov to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
