Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fuzzy Bear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vasara Markku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Fuzzy Bear has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Arvi Lind.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bear chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Markku checks a low kick from Bear.
Markku shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bear sprawls well. Bear wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Markku gets slowly back to his feet.

Markku darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Markku throwing shots but Bear is blocking nicely.
Markku not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Bear blocking the ground and pound attempt from Markku.
Markku trying to advance position but Bear counters by regaining guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Bear wants to work for an arm triangle but Markku is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That was a close round but I would say that Fuzzy Bear will probably get the nod.

Markku takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

It looks like Vasara Markku has been cut.
Bear really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Nice body kick there by Bear.
Bear with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Markku moves away from the strike by Bear.

Markku throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bear was covering up waiting for the punch and Markku finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Bear is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Markku is controlling him.
Markku trying to control the position from guard on top but Bear is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bear is looking to stand up but Markku isn't so interested in that idea.

Markku controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Markku wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bear keeps working.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Markku moves nicely into side control.
Markku trying to control the position but Bear is working away.

Despite being in the dominant position, Vasara Markku just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Bear throws a sloppy head kick and Markku moves out of range easily.

Markku shoots in and bounces Bear off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Markku slips nicely into half guard.
Markku working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Bear's thigh. Bear counters though and makes it back to full guard.

Bear loads up on a big right hand but Markku slips the punch.
Bear throws the kick towards the body but Markku avoids it.
Bear pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Markku shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Markku throws out a loose jab but Bear uses good head movement to avoid it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Markku throws an overhand right that lands on Bear's shoulder, as Bear tries to avoid the shot.
A head kick misses from Bear.
No joy there for Markku, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Bear won't allow Markku to pass to mount.
Markku prevents Bear from standing back up.
Markku misses with a head shot. Bear uses the momentum to regain guard.

Markku wants to control from the top but Bear keeps moving.
Vasara Markku has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Markku accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Markku throws a big shot that misses.
Fuzzy Bear seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bear throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Fuzzy Bear is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Markku throws out a powerful jab.
Bear tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Markku keeps the fight on the outside.
Fuzzy Bear is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Markku swats away the attempt to clinch by Bear.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Markku fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Markku lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bear circles away quickly and effectively.
Bear is looking to clinch.

Vasara Markku comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
