Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Benedict Cero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonny Bench (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cero comes into the arena with This Is War blaring out of the sound system. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cero keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Bench shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Cero is trying to defend but Bench finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Cero wants to improve his position but Bench is controlling well.
Bench is thwarting Cero's attempts to control the position.
Cero gets full guard.
Cero looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bench is one step ahead there.
Cero looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Bench trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Bench thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bench accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Cero controls Bench momentarily but Bench frees himself.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Cero holds on and takes a little breather.
Bench trying to control the position from guard on top but Cero is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Bench tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cero sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bench somewhat.
Cero bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Cero is breathing heavily.

Bench is looking for a sweep.
Cero wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bench, who protects the arm well.
Bench gets back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bench throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Cero works his foot free and advances to mount.
Cero is working for a guillotine from mount but Bench frees his head quite easily.
Bench tries to hold on but Cero postures up.

Bench is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Cero wants to control the pace but Bench is squirming around nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bench sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Bench makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bench.
Bench is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Bench wants to sweep but no luck.

Bench has an active guard here but Cero has managed to pass into half guard.
Cero seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Cero prevents Bench from improving his position.
Bench looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Cero is looking to advance position but Bench won't allow it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jonny Bench will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Bench wants to clinch up but Cero keeps it at a distance.
Bench shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Cero counters with a single leg into guard. Bench didn't expect that.
Cero throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Bench keeping moving, preventing Cero from controlling successfully.
Bench has his foot on Cero's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Cero works his way back into a safe position though.
Bench looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Bench can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Cero controls the pace.
Cero has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Bench manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Cero manages to get himself to full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Bench throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Cero works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Bench looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Cero holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Bench is looking for a kimura but Cero is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bench to get the leverage.
Bench trying to work for an americana but Cero has managed to regain full guard.
Cero looking for a sweep. Not yet Cero, not yet.
Bench stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cero swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Cero wants to sweep but no luck.
Bench thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Bench drops back looking for a leg! Cero is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cero manages to kick Bench off! Bench jumps back into Cero's guard.
Bench drops back, looking for a kneebar! Cero looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Cero looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Cero!
Bench wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Cero is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bench is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Bench regains half guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Cero trying to pass the guard but Bench defending well.
Bench is trying to control but can't.
Cero is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bench doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Cero.
Cero trying to mount his opponent but Bench defends it.
Cero is looking to pass Bench's guard but actually Bench recovers to full guard.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Bench closes the distance and clinches.
Cero drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Bench gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Cero turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Bench is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Cero off and has taken his back!
Bench has his arm under Cero's chin here. Game over son! Bench squeezes tightly and Cero is forced to tap out!
