Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Argon Erikson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Erikson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Monster by Skillet. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Erikson throws a shot to the body.
Silva takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
It looks like Fedor Silva has been cut.
Silva looks gassed!
Erikson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Silva moves into range and clinches up with Erikson.
Erikson is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Erikson wants the takedown. Silva is fighting it off but Erikson persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Silva's guard against the cage.
Erikson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Silva swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Silva wants to control the position but Erikson says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Silva wants to control but Erikson is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Erikson stands up and beckons Silva to join him on the feet.

Silva tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Erikson misses with a few strikes there.
Silva takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Silva looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Silva circles away from the clinch attempt.

Erikson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Silva paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Silva counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Silva got a little sloppy there for a moment and Erikson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Silva has managed to get both his arms back between Erikson's legs - danger averted.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Erikson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Silva was covering up waiting for the punch and Erikson finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Erikson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Silva swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva has control of Erikson's left arm, preventing Erikson from doing any damage.

Erikson wants to stand but Silva has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Argon Erikson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Silva is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Silva shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Silva was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Silva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Erikson's waist but Erikson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silva off to one side.
Erikson cracks Silva with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Fedor Silva has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Argon Erikson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Erikson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
