The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jashin gets caught flat footed, as Cage shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Cage stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jashin swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jashin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cage gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Jashin looking for subs off his back but Cage has passed one foot through into half guard.
Cage works his way into full mount!
Cage avoids the attempt from Jashin to control.
Cage moves to the back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jashin can't escape the position.

Cage looking to break Jashin's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Jashin remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Cage will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jashin might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Cage kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
