Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Corbett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lester Wagstaff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Corbett kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is fue a por trabajo y le comieron lo de abajo. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nathan Corbett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lester Wagstaff!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Jonathan Paton and Reed Andrews.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corbett shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Wagstaff tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Corbett paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Wagstaff moves into the clinch.
Wagstaff lands an elbow just above Corbett 's eye.

It looks like Nathan Corbett has been cut.
Wagstaff misses with a knee strike.

Wagstaff pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Corbett jabs Wagstaff right on the nose. Wagstaff blinks but takes it well.
Wagstaff throws a half hearted mid kick.
Wagstaff thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Corbett if he has to take too many more of those.
Wagstaff defending well as Corbett loads up on a big left hand.
Wagstaff misses with a body shot.

Corbett shoots in for a takedown but Wagstaff shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wagstaff avoids the body shot from Corbett.
Corbett looks to land a right hand but Wagstaff moved out of range.
Corbett throws a hook but Wagstaff avoids it easily.
Corbett takes a swing at Wagstaff's ribcage but misses.
Wagstaff tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Corbett takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
A head kick misses from Wagstaff.
Wagstaff blocks a low kick nicely.
Wagstaff throws the kick towards the body but Corbett avoids it.
Corbett looks to throw the jab but Wagstaff is out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Corbett throws a push kick but Wagstaff slaps the foot to one side.
Corbett throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Wagstaff moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Corbett is breathing heavily.
Wagstaff tries a head kick but it misses.
Wagstaff throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Wagstaff lands a big head kick that sends Corbett tumbling to the mat! Wagstaff takes a step backwards and waves Corbett back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Corbett is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Corbett looks to land a right hand but Wagstaff moved out of range.
Oh Corbett is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wagstaff looks to score with a jab to the body but Corbett is just out of range.

Wagstaff drops Corbett with a beautiful combination! Corbett stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Wagstaff is looking for the KO!
Corbett is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Wagstaff's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Wagstaff drops Corbett with a naaaaasty hook - Corbett is in real trouble here! Wagstaff dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
