Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Spitwater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mohamed Sissoko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mohamed Sissoko is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sissoko is looking to clinch but Spitwater is avoiding it.
Spitwater tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A combination from Spitwater does no damage.
Sissoko throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Sissoko dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Sissoko shoots in but no luck this time.
Spitwater chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Sissoko can pounce on him.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Sissoko has eaten all the pies!
Sissoko moves in looking to clinch but Spitwater pushes him off.

Sissoko shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Spitwater pinned against the cage. Spitwater gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Spitwater shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sissoko's guard.

Spitwater manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sissoko manages to get himself to full guard.

Spitwater feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sissoko is on top in guard.

Spitwater seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Sissoko does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Spitwater postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Sissoko is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Spitwater, into his guard.
Sissoko wanted to stand there but Spitwater had control of the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Spitwater has his foot on Sissoko's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sissoko works his way back into a safe position though.

Sissoko has hold of Spitwater's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Spitwater tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Sissoko cranks the arm and Spitwater screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Spitwater, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
