The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robertson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bricis tries to avoid it but Robertson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bricis to the ground. Bricis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bricis throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Robertson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Robertson checks a low kick from Bricis.
Horrible takedown by Robertson or perhaps it was just good defense by Bricis which made him look bad.
Robertson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Robertson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

and Bricis counters with a good low kick that Robertson was not able to check.
Robertson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Bricis sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Viktors Bricis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruce Robertson.
Bricis paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Bricis feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Robertson sprawling to the canvas! Robertson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Bricis finish him?!

It looks like Bruce Robertson has been cut.
