Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Domenic Amato!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Donatello Bradman and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amato bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Amato lands with a nice body punch.
Magoo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Amato moves away.
Magoo fails in his attempt to clinch.
Magoo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Amato fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Amato cracks Magoo with an open hand slap.
Magoo is looking to clinch but Amato is avoiding it.
Magoo throws out a loose jab but Amato uses good head movement to avoid it.
A telegraphed right hand from Amato misses the target.

Amato gets a takedown into half guard.
Amato working over Magoo with some ground and pound. Magoo looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Amato is looking to take a break and control but Magoo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Magoo wants to control but Amato is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Amato throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Amato thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Magoo's head.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Magoo is trying to get back to full guard.
Amato looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Magoo with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Amato is nestled in close to Magoo, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Magoo avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Amato.
Amato throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Amato is trying to control the action in half guard but Magoo is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Amato is looking for a kimura but Magoo is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Amato to get the leverage.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Magoo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Maximus Magoo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Amato throws a jab but it's blocked by Magoo.

Magoo throws a hook to the side of Amato's head but Amato sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Amato catches Magoo with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Maximus Magoo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Magoo throws a jab when Amato was well out of range.
Maximus Magoo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Magoo takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Amato lands with a cross.
Amato avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Amato throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Amato misses with a wild body shot.

Amato throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Magoo sees it coming and avoids it easily.

The fighters circle momentarily. Amato darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Amato throws a looping overhand right but Magoo ducks down to avoid it.

Magoo tries to close the distance and clinch but Amato swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Magoo moves in looking to clinch but Amato pushes him off.
Magoo misses with a combination
enabling Amato to counter with a crisp jab.
Amato circles away from the clinch attempt
letting Amato counter with a right hand.
Amato keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Amato throws the left hand but Magoo avoids the punch easily.
Amato digs a good body shot into Magoo's ribs.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Amato scores with a sloppy right hand. Magoo should have avoided that one.
A big right from Amato misses.
Amato scores with a decent looking hook.
Amato lands with a good body shot.
Amato throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Magoo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Amato lands a left and a right that send Magoo crashing to the mat, dazed. Amato thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Magoo is rocked!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Amato fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Magoo to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Magoo looks to clinch but Amato throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Magoo taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
