Simmons comes to the cage accompanied by Hood Mentality. Crocop has chosen In da club as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crocop keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Simmons tries to bum rush Crocop with a series of wild strikes but Crocop uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Crocop has closed the distance and engaged Simmons in a clinch.

Crocop escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Crocop throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Crocop gets to his feet. Simmons looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
No joy there for Crocop, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Both fighters circling a little - Crocop finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Simmons is breathing heavily.
Simmons throws a series of punches but Crocop avoids them all with ease.
Simmons throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Crocop.
