Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lando Pineta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pineta has chosen star wars theme as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jorge Santos has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jorge Santos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lando Pineta!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos tries for a takedown but Pineta sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Pineta fails to land with a series of punches.
Santos wants to clinch.
Santos throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pineta's waist but Pineta gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Santos off to one side.
Pineta misses with a series of wild punches.

Pineta moves into the clinch.

Pineta breaks the clinch.
Santos shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pineta as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jorge Santos. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Santos drives through with a takedown into guard.
Santos won't allow Pineta to sweep him here.
Santos trying to control but Pineta is working from the bottom.
Santos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pineta swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Santos is looking to work some ground and pound but Pineta has wrist control.
Santos postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Santos stays in close to Pineta's body and controls the position.
Santos won't allow Pineta to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Santos misses with a takedown attempt - Pineta sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Pineta throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Pineta lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Santos slips a jab and a cross from Pineta.

Pineta moves into range and clinches up with Santos.
Santos drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Pineta gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Santos tries to pull guard but Pineta won't allow it.

Pineta escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lando Pineta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pineta avoids a punch combination nicely.
Santos wants to clinch

and Pineta counters with a crisp one two that drops Santos! Pineta thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Santos to his feet! Santos is in big trouble!

Santos is rocked!
Santos is breathing heavily.
Pineta throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Santos crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
