The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ferraz drops Agron with a right and a left! Ferraz comes rushing in but Agron regains his composure and manages to keep Ferraz in guard.

Agron is rocked!
Ferraz is stalling in the full guard.
Agron is still in real trouble! Can Ferraz finish him?

Agron has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Ferraz is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Agron.
Ferraz in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Ferraz misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

Ferraz stands up.
Agron seems to have recovered his senses.
Agron lands a body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Agron shoots in for a takedown but Ferraz shows good takedown defense.
Ferraz ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Ferraz scores with a jab to the body.
Agron fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ferraz manages to avoid it.
Ferraz takes a swing at Agron's ribcage but misses.
Anderson Ferraz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Agron fails with the takedown.
Agron misses with a shot to the body
and Ferraz counters with a stiff right hand.
Agron tries for a takedown but Ferraz circles away easily
and Ferraz counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Anderson Ferraz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Evsei Agron.
