The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kruger doesn't manage to clinch there - DuBrul circles away.

DuBrul dodges the ground and pound from Kruger.
DuBrul is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
DuBrul is staying active underneath Kruger, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

DuBrul is pressing down on Kruger's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Kruger tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kruger throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck DuBrul on the side of the head.

DuBrul shoots in for a double leg but Kruger sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Kruger stuns DuBrul with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Kruger scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. DuBrul doesn't seem bothered though.
