PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Everson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piotr Goralczyk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Everson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Leech - Sevendust. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Everson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Goralczyk got a little sloppy there for a moment and Everson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Goralczyk has managed to get both his arms back between Everson's legs - danger averted.

Goralczyk slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Everson is trying to control the position but Goralczyk postures up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Goralczyk shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Goralczyk is trying to control the action in half guard but Everson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Goralczyk is looking to take a break and control but Everson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Everson wants to control but Goralczyk is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Goralczyk seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Goralczyk wants to free his trapped foot but Everson is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Everson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Goralczyk pulls his head out easily.

Goralczyk misses with a takedown

and Everson counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Goralczyk!
Goralczyk is working to get back to half guard.

Everson is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Goralczyk to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Goralczyk shrugs it off.
Goralczyk is looking to improve his position but Everson isn't that keen on the idea.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Everson seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Goralczyk is holding on tight.
Goralczyk is desperately trying to improve his position but Everson has a good base and remains in mount.
Goralczyk is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Everson landing strikes, looking to finish!
Everson postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Goralczyk looks a forlorn figure.
Goralczyk is wriggling around trying to escape.
Goralczyk looks out of his depth in this position - he's holding on tight.
Everson fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Everson trying to control but Goralczyk is having none of it.
Everson sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tyler Everson dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Goralczyk doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Everson counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Goralczyk has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Everson doesn't defend quickly enough and Goralczyk has managed to lock this one up! Can Everson escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Goralczyk on a fantastic submission victory.
