Balboa kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Linkin Park - Bleed It Out . The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Balboa gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Shueryuken must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Shueryuken lands a left and a right that send Balboa crashing to the mat, dazed. Shueryuken thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Rocky Balboa has been cut.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Shueryuken jumps guard but Balboa stands there with Shueryuken around his waist. Shueryuken gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Shueryuken lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Shueryuken gets control of Balboa's arms and successfully pulls guard. Shueryuken will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Balboa avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Shueryuken wants to clinch up but Balboa keeps it at a distance.

Shueryuken decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Balboa has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Shueryuken is working away from the top position though.

Shueryuken postures up in Balboa's guard and throws a big left but Balboa blocks it.

Balboa looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Shueryuken is defending well. Balboa quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Shueryuken has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Balboa celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
