Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andreas Jonsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Conrado Mattos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jonsson comes to the ring accompanied by Lover's Concerto by Kelly Chen. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Andreas Jonsson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Sam Margolis and James Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mattos lands a head shot.

Mattos fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jonsson, pushing him back against the ropes.
Jonsson drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Mattos gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Mattos is working on a single leg takedown against the ropes. Jonsson can't fight it off and eventually Mattos manages to take the fight to the floor. Jonsson looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Jonsson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Jonsson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mattos is just riding it out for now. Jonsson eventually gives up the hold.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Jonsson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mattos pinned against the cage. Mattos gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Jonsson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Mattos misses with the combination.

Jonsson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Mattos pushes Jonsson off looking to stand but Jonsson dives back in and keeps control.
Jonsson wants to advance to full mount but Mattos doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

and Mattos decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jonsson's guard.

Mattos wanted to stand there but Jonsson had control of the position.

Jonsson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Mattos is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Jonsson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Mattos's back instead.

Jonsson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Jonsson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Mattos's head.
Mattos is trying to stand up here but Jonsson is controlling him well.
Mattos really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jonsson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
