The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lucas is looking to slow Welds down with leg kicks.
Welds gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Lucas.
Welds misses with a takedown attempt - Lucas sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Lucas lands a left and a right that send Welds crashing to the mat, dazed. Lucas thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Welds is rocked!
It looks like Danny Welds has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A thudding body kick lands there by Lucas!
Oh Welds is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Welds is holding his hands too far apart here. Lucas throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Welds is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
