Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jurgen Lythjohan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Richards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lythjohan comes to the cage accompanied by The Worm by Audioslave. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lythjohan blocks a leg kick.

Lythjohan decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Richards tries to roll over but Lythjohan keeps him under control.

Richards escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lythjohan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Richards has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lythjohan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That was a close round but I would say that Jurgen Lythjohan will probably get the nod.

Richards is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
