The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Delgado tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A good leg kick by Delgado.
Delgado is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Rizzo jabs at Delgado's body.
Delgado throws and low kick but Rizzo moves out of range easily.
Delgado throws a shot to the body.
An inside leg kick lands from Delgado.
Rizzo tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Rizzo scores a takedown into full mount!
Delgado tries to lock up and control but Rizzo gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rizzo breaks from Delgado's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Delgado is desperately trying to improve his position but Rizzo has a good base and remains in mount.
The referee warns Delgado that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

It looks like Juan Delgado has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Rizzo raining down shots from the mount!

That has opened up Juan Delgado's cut even more.
Delgado wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Rizzo.

Delgado is looking to improve his position but Rizzo isn't that keen on the idea.
