Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Degen Gambler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wanderlei Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Darude - Sandstorm. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gambler misses with a series of wild punches.
Silva slips a jab from Gambler.
Silva tries to clinch there but Gambler circles away.
Silva takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

It looks like Wanderlei Silva has been cut.

Gambler clinches up with Silva and pushes him back against the cage.

Gambler's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Gambler misses with a few strikes there.
Silva clinches but Gambler breaks the clinch

and Gambler counters with a crisp one two that drops Silva! Gambler thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Silva to his feet! Silva is in big trouble!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gambler feints and then cracks Silva's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Silva down.

Gambler drops Silva with a beautiful combination! Silva stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Gambler is looking for the KO!
Silva clinches but Gambler breaks the clinch
and Gambler counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Gambler fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Silva checks it well.
Silva tries to clinch but Gambler moves away
and Gambler counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Silva is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Silva tries to move into range but Gambler moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

and Silva takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Silva counters by moving into the clinch.

Gambler breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A telegraphed right hand from Gambler misses the target.

Gambler catches Silva with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Gambler drives through and clinches with Silva against the cage.
Gambler is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Gambler tries to break free but Silva pushes him back against the cage.
Gambler can't break the clinch.
Silva tries to land a knee to the head but Gambler blocks with his arms.

Gambler breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gambler throws a left and a right that both miss

and Silva counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Silva throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Gambler blocks it with crossed arms.

Gambler breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gambler tests Silva's chin there with a solid looking shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gambler lands with a cross.
Silva slips under a jab.
Gambler is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

and Silva counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Gambler pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Degen Gambler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Gambler lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Silva has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Silva and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Gambler lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Gambler throws a hook to the side of Silva's head but Silva sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
The fighters circling - Gambler throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Gambler scores with a body shot.
Silva looks gassed!
Gambler punishes Silva's body with a nice straight punch.
Nice shot lands for Gambler.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gambler throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Silva moves out of range as Gambler strikes.
Silva uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Gambler.

Gambler lands a left and a right that send Silva crashing to the mat, dazed. Gambler thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Silva is rocked!

That has opened up Wanderlei Silva's cut even more.
Gambler drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Silva's head, knocking him out cold! Gambler is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
