Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Juha Kankkunen!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kankkunen throws a right and a left that both miss.
Foo with a jab.
Kankkunen takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Foo falls off balance throwing a combination
and Kankkunen counters with a two punch combo.
Kankkunen takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Foo dips to his left and cracks Kankkunen with an uppercut!
Foo jabs Kankkunen right on the nose. Kankkunen blinks but takes it well.
Foo throws a right and a left that both miss.
Mr Foo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Foo misses with a double jab
and Foo takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Foo tests Kankkunen's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Foo lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Foo cracks Kankkunen with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Foo has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Kankkunen to stand back up!
Kankkunen is rocked!
A clash of legs there as Kankkunen blocks the low kick.
Kankkunen is still on wobbly legs! Can Foo finish him?
Foo lands with a right and another and another! Kankkunen is in big trouble! Foo lands again and this time it's lights out for Kankkunen! A quality knockout there for Foo.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Mr Foo!
