The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
klinsman shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Arippa as he jumps to the side.
Arippa moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like Jurgen klinsman has been cut.
Arippa digs a good body shot into klinsman's ribs.
klinsman avoids a punch combination nicely.
Arippa throws a left that rocks klinsman and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Arippa dives into side control, looking to finish! Can klinsman regain composure!

klinsman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Arippa tries to avoid it but klinsman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Arippa to the ground. Arippa escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Arippa throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
klinsman throws a series of punches but Arippa avoids them all with ease.

klinsman is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
klinsman closes the distance but Arippa moves to the side
and Arippa counters with a straight right hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
