Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ed Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julian The Fury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Fury is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Scream Aim Fire. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ed Reed! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Julian The Fury! The judges for this bout are , and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reed tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but The Fury paws at him with a jab and circles away. Reed misses with a low kick as The Fury jumps back. The Fury shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Reed as he avoids it easily. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Reed, right into the meat.
The Fury fails with the takedown. The Fury closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The Fury shoots in looking for a takedown. Reed tries to sprawl out of it but The Fury keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Reed manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Ed Reed has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Julian The Fury. Reed swinging wilding here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Some wild striking there from Reed.
Reed connects with a crisp jab. No luck for The Fury with that takedown attempt. Reed looks to land a combination but The Fury avoids it well. The Fury looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Reed is fending him off so far but The Fury persists. Nope, Reed circles away and we're back to standing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. The Fury tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Reed swivels and escapes. Reed scores with a takedown into The Fury's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Reed drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but The Fury manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Reed has The Fury in his guard. Reed had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. The Fury is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Reed Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take The Fury's back instead. Reed is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged The Fury with him. The Fury is trying to defend but Reed has an arm under the chin now! The Fury grimaces and is forced to tap out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Ed Reed!
