Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between James Maia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamie Horton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Horton's choice of entrance music: Sorry, you're not a winner. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horton throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Maia's waist but Maia gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Horton off to one side.
Maia gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Horton throwing strikes but missing.
Maia keeping moving, preventing Horton from controlling successfully.
Horton passes into half guard.
Horton seems to be looking for submissions.
Maia is trying to maintain the position but Horton is very close to passing his half guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Horton prevents Maia from improving his position.
Horton is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Maia doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Horton.

Maia knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Horton on the ground.

Horton is taking a breather. Maia says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Maia circles away from the clinch attempt.
Maia is looking to clinch but Horton is avoiding it.
Jamie Horton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horton shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Maia is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Horton working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Horton looks gassed!
Horton wants to control the pace but Maia is squirming around nicely.
Horton is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Maia tries to lock up and control but Horton gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Maia on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Maia tries to get out of the position.
Horton can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Maia is looking to escape.
Horton has hold of Maia's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Maia manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Horton avoids the attempt from Maia to control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Horton punching from mount but Maia doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Maia tries to lock up and control but Horton gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Horton trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Maia can't escape the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Horton can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Maia is looking to escape.
Horton throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jamie Horton dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Maia gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Horton to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Horton won't allow Maia to sweep him here.

Maia wants to sweep here but Horton controlling him for the moment.
Maia is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Horton tries to free his leg and advance position but Maia is retaining full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Horton wants to free his trapped foot but Maia is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Horton is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Maia tries to get to full guard but Horton has control of the leg.
Horton seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Maia does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Horton is looking to advance position but Maia won't allow it.

Horton seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Maia is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
