The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Irene waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Noonan.
Irene plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Noonan instigates a clinch.
Noonan lands a hook that snaps the head of Irene backwards.
It looks like Me Myself Irene has been cut.
Noonan working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.

Noonan blocks a head kick by Irene.
A big right from Irene misses.
Irene misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Irene on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Irene tries to land a front kick but Noonan steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Noonan is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Irene's half guard.
Noonan looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Noonan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That has opened up Me Myself Irene's cut even more.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Noonan connects with a nice short shot to Irene's temple.
The cut above Me Myself Irene's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Me Myself Irene's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
