The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mitchell has managed to clinch.
Lawal goes for a takedown attempt but Mitchell pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Mitchell throws a right and a left that both miss.
Mitchell's corner calls for a 1-2. Mitchell obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Mitchell misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mitchell tries to bum rush Lawal with a series of wild strikes but Lawal uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Mitchell shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Lawal is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Lawal is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Mitchell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lawal. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
A nice elbow there by Mitchell.
Mitchell breaks from Lawal's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Mitchell landing shots from mount.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mitchell lands a big elbow.
Mitchell fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Lawal is rocked!
Lawal is trying desperately to improve position.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Mitchell postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Lawal in real trouble here! The ref calls for Lawal to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
