Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Richard Riddick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noah Walburn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walburn has chosen Flirting with Disaster as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Richard Riddick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Noah Walburn!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Daniel Cesar and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walburn tries to clinch but Riddick moves out of range.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Walburn tries to close the distance and clinch up but Riddick swats him away and circles back towards the center.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Riddick shoots in for a takedown but Walburn shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Riddick fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Walburn manages to avoid it.

Walburn postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Riddick is looking to regain half guard here but Walburn keeps moving and retains side control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Riddick postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Walburn is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Riddick, into his guard.

Noah Walburn showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Riddick is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Walburn is defending well though. Riddick let's go of the attempt for now.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Riddick gets his hands free as Walburn looks to control.

I would just about give that final round to Noah Walburn.
Well Walburn has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
