Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brett Wallingford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy left from Robinson finds it's target.
Wallingford really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Robinson tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Wallingford is able to avoid easily.
Brett Wallingford seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wallingford tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Wallingford throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Robinson.
Robinson connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Wallingford throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Wallingford takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Robinson misses with a wild combination.
Wallingford tries to land a front kick but Robinson steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Wallingford throws a left and a right that both miss
and Robinson counters with a series of strikes. Wallingford will be more careful next time no doubt.
Wallingford lands a head kick. Robinson smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Wallingford pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Wallingford throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Wallingford swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Robinson lands with a hook. Wallingford tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Robinson moves out of range of the body kick from Wallingford.
Robinson wants to land a leg kick but Wallingford is out of range.
Robinson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Wallingford momentarily.
Wallingford on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Robinson pivots, looking for a leg kick but Wallingford is out of range and Robinson settles back down.
Wallingford blocks the body kick.
Wallingford closes the distance looking to clinch
and Robinson counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Robinson misses with a series of wild punches.
Wallingford loads up on a big right hand but Robinson slips the punch.
Robinson connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Wallingford checks a low kick from Robinson.
Wallingford needs to keep his hands up - Robinson had a free shot at his head there.
Wallingford throws a combination that misses
and Robinson counters with a nice uppercut.
Wallingford is breathing heavily.
Wallingford gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Robinson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Robinson punishes Wallingford's body with a nice straight punch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Robinson lands with an uppercut that bounces Wallingford off the cage and back into rage.
Robinson darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Robinson lands with a nice combination. Wallingford backs away looking to recover.

Wallingford is rocked!

Robinson throws a series of punches but Wallingford avoids them all with ease.
Robinson is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Wallingford had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Good exchange - Robinson coming out on top.

Robinson lands a left and a right that sends Wallingford crashing to the canvas! Robinson dives into mount looking to finish!
Oh Wallingford is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Robinson stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Wallingford seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Robinson shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Wallingford is backing up but Robinson catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Wallingford covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Robinson Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
