Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luca brasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
brasi shoots for a double leg takedown but Silva sprawls well. He's pushed brasi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Silva closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming brasi to the mat! brasi manages to get full guard.
Silva throwing strikes from guard but brasi blocks nicely.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Silva knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for brasi on the ground.

Silva lands a couple of decent looking shots.

and brasi counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Silva's guard now.

brasi is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

brasi trying to control the position from guard on top but Silva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Silva wants to stand but brasi is controlling the position.

brasi drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. brasi seems to have locked his on tight now - Silva screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for brasi, as he picks up the win!
