Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jorgen Kruuut!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kruuut sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Silva somewhat.
Silva tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Kruuut circles away from the clinch attempt.
Silva moves in looking to clinch but Kruuut pushes him off.
Silva keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Silva wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kruuut has him pressed against the cage.

Kruuut is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Silva's half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Silva tries to lock up and control but Kruuut gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Kruuut is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Silva is surviving well by controlling Kruuut's body position as best he can.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jorgen Kruuut overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Kruuut throws a strike but Silva avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Silva has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Kruuut is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Kruuut postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Silva is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kruuut, into his guard.
Silva wants to control from the top but Kruuut keeps moving.
Silva won't allow Kruuut to sweep him here.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jorgen Kruuut.
Well Kruuut has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
