Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dan Hedwig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hedwig's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Ministry - "N.W.O.". White has chosen "Bring Out Your Dead" by Strung Out as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White lands with a right hand.
White attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Hedwig clinches.
Hedwig throws a knee to the head but misses.
Hedwig misses with a knee to the head.
Hedwig prevents a body shot from White.
A nice left hand lands by White.
Hedwig looking to slow down the pace here.
White takes a knee right on the jaw!
White tries for a takedown. No joy.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
White tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
White drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hedwig gets the underhooks and prevents it.

A right hook to the body lands for White.

White's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
White throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hedwig stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Hedwig is breathing heavily.
Hedwig tries to clinch but White is having none of it.
Nice straight punches there by White. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of White.
Hedwig tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
White tries to land a leg kick but Hedwig saw it coming and moves away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
White misses with a series of wild punches.
White fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hedwig manages to avoid it.
Some bone on bone action there as White checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Hedwig takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
White tries to bum rush Hedwig with a series of wild strikes but Hedwig uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
White misses the shot to the body.
Hedwig with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling White to score with a decent uppercut.
Hedwig misses with a straight left.
White scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Hedwig doesn't seem bothered though.
Hedwig throws a leg kick
and Hedwig takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
White misses with a hook.
Dan Hedwig seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
White misses with a looping right.
White throws the kick towards the body but Hedwig avoids it.
White turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
White misses with a straight left.
Hedwig takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
White scores with a punch to the head.

Hedwig is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
White lands with a right and another and another! Hedwig is in big trouble! White lands again and this time it's lights out for Hedwig! A quality knockout there for White.
