Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Standan Strike (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and MARCO SILVEIRA (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). SILVEIRA has chosen Hino Rio Grandense as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. MARCO SILVEIRA has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
SILVEIRA shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Strike pinned against the cage. Strike gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Strike throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

and Strike counters with a right hand to the body.
SILVEIRA chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Strike can pounce on him.
Strike gets cracked with a nice right hand there by SILVEIRA.
Strike stalks SILVEIRA and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into SILVEIRA's face. SILVEIRA staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like MARCO SILVEIRA has been cut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Strike misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Strike feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends SILVEIRA sprawling to the canvas! SILVEIRA rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Strike finish him?!
