The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Dez.
Dez misses with a two punch combination.
Dez tries to score a power double leg takedown but Liddell sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dez somewhat.
Liddell tries to bum rush Dez with a series of wild strikes but Dez uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Liddell misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Liddell keeps the fight on the outside.
Liddell falls off balance throwing a combination
and Dez counters with a nice leg kick.
Dez changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Liddell swats away the attempt to clinch by Dez.
Liddell misses with a series of wild punches.
Dez goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Dez moves in looking to clinch but Liddell pushes him off.
Dez connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Liddell's hands.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Liddell misses with a double jab
and Dez counters with a head kick that drops Liddell to the mat! Liddell scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Liddell is rocked!
Liddell looks gassed!
Dez seems to be stalking Liddell here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Liddell drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
