The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tarkatan circles away quickly and effectively.
Jones throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Tarkatan lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Jones is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tarkatan misses with a low kick.

Tarkatan wants to slow Jones down by chopping away at his legs.
Tarkatan buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Tarkatan throws a front kick aimed at Jones's knee but Jones avoids it well.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Tarkatan.
Baraka Tarkatan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Jones avoids a kick to the body.
Tarkatan avoids the head kick by Jones.
Tarkatan misses with a body kick.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Tarkatan throws a solid leg kick but Jones takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Tarkatan.
Jones scores with a one two! Tarkatan had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Tarkatan tries to clinch up but Jones circles away and keeps his distance.
Tarkatan wants to land a leg kick but Jones is out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jones is defended easily by Tarkatan.

Jones moves out of range of the body kick.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Tarkatan goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Jones misses with a head kick.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
A chopping leg kick lands by Tarkatan.

Jones takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Baraka Tarkatan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Tarkatan is looking to chop away at Jones's legs.
Tarkatan does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jones tries for a takedown but Tarkatan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Jones shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Tarkatan wants to stand and escape but Jones is having none of it.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tarkatan can do anything to dispel that myth.
Jones is fighting to break Tarkatan's control of his arms but Tarkatan is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Tarkatan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jones's guard.

Tarkatan looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Baraka Tarkatan is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Tarkatan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tarkatan has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Jones cracks a nice hook into Tarkatan's ribs.
Jones on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Tarkatan. Tarkatan obviously looking to wear him down.

and Jones counters with a straight right hand.

Baraka Tarkatan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Tarkatan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
