Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Elvis Bika (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Olumide Akomolede (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bika might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to My Decision. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Bika takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Akomolede connects with a single shot there.
Akomolede throws a looping overhand right but Bika ducks down to avoid it.
Akomolede lands a body shot.
Olumide Akomolede seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Akomolede punishes Bika's body with a nice straight punch.
Akomolede misses the jab.
Bika shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Akomolede manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Bika postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Bika throws a body punch but Akomolede moves out of range.
Akomolede ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bika moves away.
Akomolede uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bika.
Akomolede walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Bika moves out of range as Akomolede strikes.
Akomolede looks to throw the jab but Bika is out of range.
Akomolede is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Bika bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Akomolede looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bika is fending him off so far but Akomolede persists. Nope, Bika circles away and we're back to standing.

Bika fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Akomolede looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Bika connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

so Bika counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bika working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Akomolede's head.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

and Akomolede counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Bika avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Bika tries to close the distance and clinch but Akomolede swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Akomolede is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Akomolede throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Bika needs to keep his hands up - Akomolede had a free shot at his head there.
