Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ben Schaefer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuckie Mac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ben Schaefer has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ben Schaefer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chuckie Mac!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Saam Ante and Daniel Blasius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mac looks for a takedown but Schaefer sprawls well.
Schaefer on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Mac. Mac obviously looking to wear him down.
Mac connects with a jab.

It looks like Ben Schaefer has been cut.
A combination from Mac does no damage.
Schaefer throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mac sees it coming and avoids it easily.

The fight stays on the outside here - Mac looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Mac darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Schaefer moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Mac wants to pass to mount but Schaefer is defending the position.

Mac stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Schaefer to get to his feet.
Mac tries to close the distance and clinch but Schaefer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Chuckie Mac seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horrible takedown by Mac or perhaps it was just good defense by Schaefer which made him look bad.
Mac lands with a nice combination. Schaefer backs away looking to recover.

Schaefer dodges the punch combination from Mac.
Schaefer throws an overhand right that lands on Mac's shoulder, as Mac tries to avoid the shot.
Some bone on bone action there as Schaefer checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Schaefer slaps away a takedown attempt from Mac, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Ben Schaefer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chuckie Mac.
Mac looks gassed!

Mac drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Schaefer wants to improve his position but Mac is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's time! Schaefer's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Mac is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Mac is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Schaefer's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Schaefer's back!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Mac is trying to get back to half guard.

Schaefer works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Mac manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Poor strikes thrown by Schaefer there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Schaefer jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Mac is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Mac and Schaefer has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Schaefer is looking to take a break and control but Mac is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Mac throws a series of punches but Schaefer avoids them all with ease.
Mac misses with a series of wild punches.
Mac clinches but Schaefer breaks the clinch

and Schaefer counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Schaefer.
Mac gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Schaefer.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Schaefer is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Mac doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Schaefer.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Mac is looking to control Schaefer's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Mac avoid being mounted?

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Mac misses with a looping left.
Schaefer tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A looping hook to the body misses from Schaefer. Mac does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Schaefer counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Mac is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Schaefer lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Mac!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Schaefer lands a big shot there that rocks Mac but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Schaefer swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Mac is now in Schaefer's guard. A big mistake from Schaefer there, giving up the dominant position!

I would just about give that final round to Chuckie Mac.
I think Mac has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
