Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vitus Peering (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sammy Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peering comes into the arena with Saint Vitus Dance blaring out of the sound system. Sammy Morgan will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Peering looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Morgan lunges at Peering with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Peering's hand.

Peering throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Morgan was covering up waiting for the punch and Peering finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

and Morgan counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Morgan lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Morgan.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Peering has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Morgan's face.
The referee warns Morgan that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
