Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Derrick Murfin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martins Egle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murfin comes to the cage accompanied by B.Y.O.B.. The key to victory for Derrick Murfin has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murfin throws a jab but it's blocked by Egle.
Murfin avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Murfin looks to throw the jab but Egle is out of range.

Murfin lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Murfin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Egle moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Murfin wants to stand and escape but Egle is having none of it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
